The theme behind Final Fantasy IX's character development is
the personal struggles of the characters, and of them discovering
their place in the world. Every character has their own individual
quote which reflects the character and his or her personality.
Final Fantasy IX was the first game in the FF series on the
PSone to allow you to have 4 characters in a team at once. As
usual there are little side quests that allow you to learn more
about the characters and their past. Each character has different
abilities; this is an excellent junctioning system because it
makes the battles far more tactically based and adds to the
characters unique personalities. |
