At 33-years-old, Steiner is double the age of the other characters. He is a large knight who clashes with Zidane throughout the game. Steiner is the captain of the Knights of Pluto, the only male squadron in Alexandria, and his only mission is to protect Garet. The tention between Steiner and Zidane grow as he accuses Zidane of being a threat to Garet. Steiner isn't the brightest person in the world and it takes him a good portion of the game to come to terms with Queen Brahine's new behavior. Even when her forces capture him he is convinced it is a communication error. Steiner dosn't have many battle abilites but he can equip the heaviest weapons are armor in the game. And his physical might more hten makes up for his lackings. Eventually his physical techniques brings on a lot of damage.
