Technicks do not require MP to use, but some Technicks are only useable under certain circumstances. Technicks can be essential to a party's survival with abilities like Shades of Black, which casts a random black magick without using MP, or Revive, which expends your HP but fully resurrects an ally. Although it is earned late in the game, Telekinesis is a technick that everybody should have activated on their License Board, as it deals normal weapon damage to flying enemies. As you can see, Technicks should not be passed up. It's a good idea to have one or two people on your team branch out and learn each one.
