Final Fantasy X is
a landmark for gaming. It does everything
that previous Final Fantasy's have
done before, but expands and improves.
The story is excellent, and could
not be better. The background of
the overall story is done quite
well, although a few minor aspects
remain a mystery. The progression
of the story that the player interacts
with is revolutionary. The characters
all talk and have facial animations,
and seem like real actors/actresses.
The mouth usually never moves exactly
with the words, but usually it doesn't
detract from the experience.
The characters are all very real
and well done, and each has their
own personality and accent. Tidus
is the brave hero that acts whiny.
Yuna is the caring summoner that
puts her life on the line for the
sake of others. Wakka is a nervous
athlete, complete with a Jaimacan
accent. Kimhari is the quiet one
of the group, and Lu-Lu is the serious
person that puts the mission first.
Auron is another serious one, but
he has the cool, calm warrior attitude.
Rikku is the playful girl that appears
in the FF series.
The game play is a tad different
from previous FFs, but the core
is still the same. The difference
is that battle sequence is now predetermined,
meaning no more cheap shots from
enemies while deciding your
