Despite our name "Final Fantasy Extreme",
we are not your usual Final Fantasy fan site. Whereas
a lot of FF sites just cover the FF games (sometimes extremely
poorly), we don't, we offer more than just that limited
information. Not only do we have some of the most unsurpassed
information on probably the best RPG series, Final Fantasy,
we also offer coverage from a lot of other Square Enix
games and some of the other great RPG's to bless the console
world. Aside from complete strategy guides, we also offer
visitors reviews, previews, image galleries, downloads
and a great level of interactivity.
FFExtreme.com is a new category of gaming site, contrasting
from other sites we are a heavily based fan site. As the
site is not a business and is a non profit organisation,
we rely on our fan base to aid other fans. As this is
a non profit organisation, we are able to offer all the
content on the site for free of charge dissimilar from
some other gaming and FF sites. Everyone who works on
the site does so in there spare time and achieves this
for no personal gain accept the satisfaction of working
for, probably one of the most popular and friendly FF
sites. We are proud to say that this is in fact one of
the only websites made by the fans for the fans. After
being open for 2 years we finally decided that considering
the vast quantity of help we offered gamers on the Squaresoft
games, especially the Final Fantasy series, we decided
that other gaming series would benefit from our helpful
nature. The system that we use, combining a fan site with
a professional exterior is present in the way that we
apply for topsites and have affiliated sites. Overall
though we have to remember that this is only a fan site
that we make in our spare time, so it may have a few errors
that you should feel free to tell us about.
Game Coverage
Through out all, we at Final Fantasy Extreme has always relied on having great original content to bring people back day after day. So we make sure we never lose that aim, and even with our massive forums member base we still keep site content as the top priority. Basically we have a crack team of content writers that put there free time in to making our great gaming content. When making content we always try to cover every aspect in a game. This way we can provide the best guides to get you through those tough parts in those exciting games. Imagery is an important part of our content, people seem too enjoy reading content more if they have visual aids and eye candy to look upon. Due to this fact we try to get all the images we can to accompany the written content on the site.
Media Downloads and Game Images
Here at FFE we believe that having downloads and media on the site is a great feature that the members and visitors alike have always loved to download. Due to bandwidth, sometimes adding the very big videos of the new games is not always possible; however we do try our hardest and will push that bandwidth monkey as far as we can to bring you the best media around. Sometimes you may see a error message from us saying that a certain download has been disabled either temporally or permanently, this is only to ensure that the site doesn't experience any down time due to bad management. FFE actually has its own media team that's soul purpose is to find the best downloads and post them on the site. The exact same system is also applied for the images and screenshots on the site. Basically we offer this completely free of charge which will never change. We do require you to register as a site member before you start downloading, however this is as always a free process and after you have been a member with us you will have no need to go anywhere else!
Game Reviews
Much like many sections of the site, the reviews on FFE are written by a dedicated team placed with the responsibility to that particular section of the site. All our reviewers are very competent writers and have some great insight in to the games that they write about. We are very proud of our reviews that try to give you the best "through the looking glass" look in to a game. We don't just look at the way the games plays, we also look in to other interesting subject such as value for money, life span etc. We also give you enough information about the game storyline to get you interested, however we try to never give away any spoilers in the reviews or anywhere else on the site. Any spoiler that may appear in FFE we fully warn you about before hand. Game review can be found on the main pages of a gaming section.
User Interactivity
Here at FFextreme.COM we also very proud of our very popular gaming forum, where we have offered a statuary for avid gamers and newbies looking for game help. It is a friendly community that people seem to really enjoy and return often. We are always updating it and installing new hacks to make the experience more fun for all our gaming fans. To join in with the fun you do have to apply for FFE membership, however it is FREE very quick and best of all well worth it!
